About WC [Tungsten Carbide]:

Tungsten Carbide is a metal that is created from heating Tungsten [W] and Carbon [C] to 1400-2000°C while sitting next to each other. They will have a chemical reaction at this point, creating Tungsten Carbide, which has many added properties. The new melting point is 2870°C, and the metal’s hardness is about 8.5 to 9 on the Mohs scale. Why the name for the blog? My ring is WC and it features all of the above advantages to the metal, including a polished surface that will never scratch.
